About a third of the Psalms are laments — and most of them turn. Volume 10 of the Twenty Threads series traces the movement from raw complaint to defiant praise: David's "how longs" in Psalm 13, the forsaken cry Jesus quoted from the cross, the psalmist preaching to his own downcast soul, Jeremiah's morning mercies in the rubble, and Habakkuk's "yet I will rejoice" when everything was gone.
Across seven daily readings you'll learn that lament is not the opposite of faith — it's faith refusing to let go — and you'll pick up the psalmists' own tools for the turn: honest prayer, talking to your soul, deliberate remembering. Each day includes a KJV key verse, warm plain-spoken teaching, reflection questions, a short prayer, one concrete action step, and cross-references for deeper study. For anyone in a "how long?" season who needs to know the night doesn't last forever.
